Description
Very quick, anime-style sketch of one of the main characters from my 2002 NaNoWriMo novel. Scanned the pencil sketch, which was then manipulated in Photoshop.
Anton is a dhampir -- and the novel's antagonist.
When I was hitting a massive writer's block and despairing of ever increasing my word count (the NaNo goal is 50,000 words in 30 days), I drew some of the characters. For some reason, it helped: I finished the month with over 50,000 words!
